Bush Firing Pin Hole, Turn Firing Pin

Often times we experience ignition issues as a result of hot loads, or cratered or even pierced primers causing gas leaks and other problems. Small bits of primer cup can blow back into the bolt body causing ignition failure. Bushing the FP hole eliminates these problems by reducing the size from around .078 to .065. A custom bushing is made from high quality stress free steel and is permanently installed into the bolt face. This bushing provides a "funnel" for the pin to ride in through it's excursion to the primer (instead of having to ride up and through the original internal hole). It is then machined down to the original dimension, and the original FP is turned down to fit more precisely.
